What I’m Looking Forward to in 2026 as an Artist and Gallery Director

2025 has been a year of growth. I exhibited my first solo art show “It Started in Paris” and Christi Meril shared her solo art show “Reviving Giants.” I curated the Visiting Artists Show “Poetic License” and reached a record number of people. And that’s just the highlights.

I’m excited to continue the momentum I have built both as an artist and a Gallery Director. I can already see a few ways that I’ll be able to grow creatively and the community around ALG Fine Art. Here’s what I’m looking forward to in the coming year.

New Year, New Gallery Team

At the end of 2025, we welcomed a new Gallery Manager, Skylar Craver. She’s an amazing creator and curator of art so she has a great eye for matching collectors with artwork that’s right for their hearts and their homes. I can’t wait to see how she helps drive the gallery forward, supporting our clients, artists and wider community. Read a full introduction to Skylar HERE

Expanding the Resident Artist Community

I love getting to create art alongside the other Resident Artists at ALG Fine Art. We inspire, support and champion each other as we grow creatively. In 2026, ALG will be taking on 2 new Resident Artists to join Christi Meril and me. With an open studio space, features in the gallery, group shows and solo shows, and the expertise of the sales and marketing team, it could be the next step in your artist journey. We’re taking applications until January 20th 2026. Find all the details HERE.

Thrown Glass Experimentation

At the beginning of the year, I shared a proprietary thrown glass technique in my solo show “It Started in Paris.” It involves throwing bags of glass off the roof and using the organic shapes to form my artwork. Since creating those pieces inspired by the French landscape and the Impressionist artists who came before me, I’ve played with this technique. I only recently launched my exclusive “Harmony” series. I see this technique being a part of my creative experimentation throughout 2026 and I’m intrigued to see where it takes me.

I’ve learned a lot from 2025 which I’ll be taking with me into 2026. I’m most excited for the people who will be part of my growth next year. Everyone who continues to support my art, the gallery and our immersive art event as well as the new artists and supporters who will join us on our journey.

What are you looking forward to? How would you like to grow creatively?
