ALG Fine Art invites you to explore the depths of your artistic expression and share your unique narrative in our upcoming Visiting Artists Art Show. Inspired by Brené Brown's powerful words, we seek artists who dare to confront and accept their stories to create art that speaks to the resilience of themselves and the human spirit.

What We're Looking For:
We welcome display-ready submissions in all mediums, from painting and sculpture to mixed media and digital art. You may submit as many artworks as you would like us to consider.

About ALG Fine Art:
Founded in 2019 by prominent glass artist Anna Curnes of Anna Lou Glass, ALG Fine Art (formerly ALG Collective) is an established gallery where creativity thrives, professionalism is paramount, and opportunities abound on the most well-known gallery street in Dallas. More than just a physical gallery space, the ALG is a warm and inviting luxury art buying experience with the rare energy and excitement of an open art studio. Believing that a rising tide lifts all boats, it's an open, creative hub that fosters innovation, collaboration, support and excellence in the world of art.
We are honored that our ALG Fine Art shows regularly draw crowds of 300+ art enthusiasts and collectors on opening night alone, with a curated email list of over 2,500 art lovers and a steady stream of visitors during our weekly open hours from Tuesday to Saturday on iconic Dragon Street. We want to share that abundance of exposure with our artist community, hence this rare opportunity for outside artists to show alongside us for an entire month, a first in our history.
Submission List & Guidelines:
- Title: Include the title of your artwork.
- Size: No smaller than 8” x 10” and no larger than 48” x 60” will be accepted.
- Medium: Specify the medium you will be using (e.g., oil on canvas, acrylic, sculpture, etc.) Of note, your piece must be finished and display-ready (no wet paint, method of hanging or displaying attached and/or included, etc.).
- Year: Specify the year you created your artwork.
- Photos: Include photos of the artwork you are submitting. You may include up to 4 photos per artwork.
- Artist Statement: Submit a brief artist statement describing your concept and how it relates to the theme. (This may be used for marketing purposes)
- Artist Bio: Include a brief artist bio highlighting your relevant experience and accomplishments. (This may be used for marketing purposes.)
- Reason for Submitting to ALG Fine Art: (Optional) What inspired you to submit to this show at ALG Fine Art? (This may be used for marketing purposes.)
- Website/Portfolio: Provide links to your website or online portfolio showcasing your previous or current work.
- Social Media: Provide links to your Instagram account and any other preferred social media.
Submission Fee: A non-refundable submission fee of $35 per submitted artwork is required. You may submit as many pieces as you would like us to consider. Of note you will be responsible for arranging delivery of your finished piece to ALG Fine Art on Saturday, September 21 between 12-6pm or Tuesday, September 24 between 11am- 4pm.
