I have always loved the joy of flowers! Once I accepted my own inability to grow these beauties naturally in my own garden, creating glass flowers has become my favorite way to garden as they will never wither nor fade.
Flowers are an undeniable form of the world’s beauty and are one of the heartfelt ways to express what’s in your heart when you can’t always articulate it in words. Flowers teach us to ponder, to meditate, to slow our heartbeat down and absorb life. They teach us to travel inside our soul to seek our purpose and the grand possibilities of our future.
“THE JOURNEY” is an installation of 13 Hot-Sculpted & Blown Grande Glass Flowers. Their pattern is my outpouring of both joy and relief, commemorating the many roads we travel to achieve our dreams.
This glass flower wall installation can work anywhere in your home or office; at your entrance, going up the stairwell, in the lobby of your office, or as a focal point in your living room or dining area. It can even add some opulence to your bedroom.
Upon request, this installation can also be customized by me to most effectively transform your favorite space.
Bringing the outdoors in
If you love your garden and the outdoors, flower wall installations are a great way of bringing the outside indoors.
When the Fall arrives and your garden is put to sleep, those joyful sunshine days can be remembered with a glass flower wall installation that reflects light, hope and joy.
One-of-a-kind flower
Each custom glass flower in this wall installation is distinctive. Because of the high intricacy of this piece, it takes 4 artists to create each one-of-a-kind flower using molten glass straight from the furnace. As such, each flower is unique and specific to how the artist was feeling when she created it.
If you would like to view this glass flower wall installation in person in my studio, book a Private Showroom visit https://annalouglass.com/book-a-studio-visit/ so you can see the detail and intricacy of each glass flower and envision how it might work in your space.
