Flowers are the first sign of Spring

March 21st marked the first day of Spring, and I was So Ready for it! Winter has gone on long enough!

The days are finally getting longer, the air is warmer and those hopeful buds on the trees and flowers are the sign that spring is well and truly upon us.

The Spring season symbolizes new beginnings, bringing new life to flowering plants, trees, and other flora. Flowers that bloom in spring hold a special place in everyone’s heart, and even though I’m the worst at caring for real flowers, one of my favorite things to create as an artist is glass flowers that will live forever.

In celebration of Spring, we’re hosting a Premier Spring Art Show, “RECHARGED” on Wednesday, April 20th at the ALG Collective featuring dynamic new collections in glass art, paperwork, paintings, and sculpture by Melissa Ellis, Annie Griffeth, Christi Meril, and myself!

My smaller, hot-sculpted flowers on various lucite bases will be freshly back in stock at the show alongside a fresh large-scale Hot-sculpted and Blown Glass Flower Installation will adorn the wall (due to popular demand) with my new crop of larger-than-life Glass Flowers.

“HOT SCULPTED FLOWERS”

They come in a range of different colored lucite bases to complement your interior:

Also featured at the show will be a new, large-scale Hot-sculpted and Blown Glass Flower Installation. After selling out during Covid and not being able to make more until now, I’m thrilled to finally be able to give options of my larger-than-life Glass Flowers in a mixture of Grande-12″, Medio- 10″, and Piccolo-8″ sizes, and with the ability to create more (so yes, I’ll be able to take a waiting list as well)!

Come and celebrate the joys of spring with me on Wednesday, April 20th at the ALG Collective.
