Celebrating who I really am as an artist

It’s so easy to go through life worrying about how people are going to judge you.

We’ve all been there, and it can hinder you from pursuing your dreams and stop you from expressing your true nature.

I definitely feel fear and self-doubt about my passions and my business from time to time, but I keep finding ways to step out of that and stay true to myself.

We can all get caught up in the “new/next/better,” not taking the time to truly honor that today is what’s important, and all we really have is right now.

As part of my new “FAITH” series, I’ve been reflecting on what it truly means to celebrate what I know to be true. This piece is printed in archival ink on lucite, using a kaleidoscope effect with complementary pastel purples and royal blues.

“PROCLAIMING”

Proclaiming is about telling the world who you really are; to be so excited about something that you can’t keep it to yourself; to rest and mourn and rejoice and be in your safe place, knowing you’re always in the presence of something far greater than yourself.

Customized sizing of this mural is available on request.

It’s important to celebrate the person you are now; not waiting for your future self or the person you wish you could be.

It is about accepting, encouraging, and empowering yourself in this moment. And you can celebrate who you are, anytime or any place and for any reason.

Are you ready to celebrate yourself? I hope this mural will give you little daily reminders about the many wonderful things that make you exactly you and remind you to celebrate them.
