My Solo Art Show “It Started in Paris”

Let me take you on a journey to France. The most beautiful country where I spent 5 weeks in residency last year, surrounding myself with breathtaking landscapes where masters such as Van Gogh, Cézanne, and Monet once found their own inspirations.

This residency wasn’t just about taking a break; it was about rediscovering the joy of creating, embracing imperfection, and allowing inspiration to find me in the most unexpected moments.

Every street I walked down and every conversation I had with people opened my mind in ways that I never expected.

I allowed myself to truly experiment and explore new techniques, letting go of any rules or expectations I had placed on myself. It took me a lot of practice, but eventually I stopped trying to control every detail and instead let my intuition lead the way.

I explored iconic locations like Cézanne’s “Mont Sainte-Victoire” and Van Gogh’s “Starry Night Over the Rhône,” drawing parallels between those artist’s revolutionary approaches and my evolving artistic vision.

What happened as a result was that I was able to create a brand new art collection that feels waaaay more me than anything I’ve ever created before. Every piece tells a story of what it means to embrace the messiness of life, because sometimes, that’s where the most beautiful things happen.

I’m so excited to share my new collection at my solo Art Show “It Started in Paris,” launching on Saturday March 1st

Breaking glass, embracing freedom

“It Started in Paris” marks a significant turning point in my personal artistic journey. Confronting past struggles with self-doubt and letting go of the pressure of perfectionism. It’s a testament to the power of embracing individuality, pushing boundaries, and finding liberation through art.
