The ALG Fine Art Spring Collection 2026

At ALG Fine Art, our focus is on keeping our space updated with moving and memorable pieces from Dallas-based artists. This is how we platform the local creative community, inspire the art lovers who visit us in the Dallas Design District, and match art collectors with their next favorite piece.

Our spring rehang exemplifies the calibre and variety of artistic talent in our community. Featuring pieces from our Resident Artists and Visiting Artists, if you haven’t visited recently, here’s a look into what you can explore at ALG Fine Art today.

Resident Artists

Anna Curnes

A founding Resident Artist and our Gallery Director, Anna Curnes has a strong creative vision which continues to evolve. Currently on display, you’ll see pieces from her solo show “It Started in Paris” during which she discovered her proprietary thrown glass technique such as “Let It Be I & II” and “Let It Live.” You can also view some of her smaller glass murals including “Horizons I” and “Dreamscape.”

Anna has taken her glass art into the realm of mirror art with “Jelly Palace II” and “Wild & Windblown I.” Departing from her signature medium, Anna uses her storytelling skills in Lucite sculptures. Take a look at “Trusting” and “French Reflections II.”

Christi Meril

Another one of our founding Resident Artists, we have had the pleasure of seeing Christi Meril push the boundaries of contemporary art in new and exciting ways. She is known for her impressive old-growth redwood sculptures such as “Americana” and “Rooted in Love.” We also have some newer additions to her body of work including “What Hope Holds” and “After the Fire.”

On canvas, Christi brings that same gravity and immersion to her artwork. Check out “Grounded.” She has a wonderful eye for texture and layering. “Thaw” and “Listen” are great examples of this. All her artwork is united by the duality of nature and modern life, organic forms and refined shapes, the traditional and the experimental.

Visiting Artists

Melanie Brannan

See her craftsmanship and creativity collide in “In a Land of Hope and Dreams” and her collaboration with Anna Curnes “Bloom and Sigh.”

Kaitlin Merchant

In “Shine Through V,” you can see her signature neon underpainting technique. After painting a base layer of neon, she tapes over a section which is only revealed at the end like brightness shining through.

Charlotte Marsden

As a fibre artist, Charlotte tells stories through threading together shapes, colors, and textures. See her work in “Hill Country Strata I,” “Mod Geometrique II” and “Mod Geometrique III.”

Forrest Gearheard

Forrest’s artwork “Ascension and a Smoldering Heart” draws you into raw, real and emotional storytelling, confronting the realities of life while providing hope.

CJ Miller

Inspired by a song, “Neverending” flows through the journey of love to the experience of loss, painting a vivid emotional landscape.

Matt Kaplinsky

A translation of a sighting of a living plant display, “Vertical Communion” explores the forms of plants with wonder and appreciation.

While all of these artworks (and more from our Resident Artists) are currently available to view at ALG Fine Art, not all are available to acquire. If you see a piece that speaks to you, please don’t hesitate to visit the gallery or shop online.
