You can see CJ Miller’s distinctive art style in his piece “It’s My Life” which we displayed as part of our Visiting Artists Show last year. As a visual artist, author, and founder of The Spiritual Artist Podcast, CJ has become known for his expressive abstract paintings and pioneering work in Spiritual Asemic Writing. With each piece of artwork, he creates a deeply personal and spiritual dialogue by blending intuitive mark-making with bold color and symbolic language.
Meet “Neverending”
CJ Miller created this piece while listening to a song by Anna Moss and Cyrille Aimée. Each brushstroke creates an emotional landscape that looks to be in motion. This movement and energy mirror the emotional story in the song, progressing from the wonder of first love to the ache of loss.
The organic shapes and bold colors allow the eye to wander across the length of the canvas, noticing patterns and discovering details that add meaning to the depth of the picture in whatever way it relates to your experience of love and loss. Emotions are never-ending but everchanging and it’s through art that we can better understand them.
