After a wonderful evening at the Opening Night Reception on Saturday, October 4th, we can finally reveal the art pieces that make up ALG Fine Art’s Visiting Artists Show 2025.
“Poetic License – Art to Navigate a Beautiful, Messy World” explores the nuance of the human experience through the transformative power of art meeting poetry. To piece together the narrative of this theme, we gave the artists four prompts which were four poems from J.K. Kennedy’s Clumsy Beauty. This acclaimed book is a call for us to embrace the beautiful contradictions of life – the sorrow and joy of creativity, the order and chaos of experiments, and the noise and quiet of one’s destination. A message interwoven throughout the show.
Our Visiting Artists represent the range of creatives you can find on the Dallas art scene. Some have long and established careers. Others are still emerging and building their careers. Some are local to the Dallas area. Others made their submission from across the country or the world! Due to the blind curation process, all have been chosen for their artistic merit, connection to the theme, and the powerful feelings their artwork evoked.

Act 1: “Creativity”
