ALG Fine Art · Jackie Claudet-Mitterer · Dallas, Texas
Your wedding flowers will fade.
Our version of your bridal bouquet will last a lifetime.
We have partnered with Dallas mosaic artist Jackie Claudet-Mitterer to offer something genuinely rare. A bespoke, hand-crafted mosaic of your bridal bouquet, made to live on your walls for generations.
THE IDEA
Something to hand down.
Something to keep.
The photographs will sit on a phone. The flowers will be done by the following week. But there is a version of your wedding day that does not fade, does not flatten, and does not end up in a box in the cupboard.
A mosaic commission with Jackie is not a keepsake. It is a work of art. Built by hand, piece by piece, from glass and stone and the specific palette of your day. It will hang on your wall and catch the light differently every single morning. Something this beautiful is made to be passed on, carrying the story of your day forward through the generations.
That is what we think a wedding day deserves. Not just a record of it. A proper celebration of it, made to last.
There is something incredibly sacred about taking a bridal bouquet, a symbol of a single, fleeting day, and turning it into a permanent, three-dimensional piece.

THE ARTIST
Jackie Claudet-Mitterer
Mixed Media Mosaic Artist
Jackie was born in Lima, Peru, and grew up during an era of significant political violence. She has always been clear about what art did for Jackie during that time. It was a refuge. A way through. She came to the United States in 2000, and taught herself to work with glass.
She is a self-taught artist whose work has been shown internationally, including at Gallery 26 in Vienna and the Anita Diebel Gallery in Texas. In Dallas, she was selected as one of eight artists to create a permanent public artwork through a
National Endowment for the Arts grant. She has been a Visiting Artist at ALG Fine Art, and we have had the privilege of showing Jackie's work twice.
What sets Jackie apart is how she works. She does not sit down and place tiles. She sits with the story of a day, reads the words exchanged, looks at the light in the photographs, and then lets all of that pour into the piece. The result is not a reproduction of flowers. It is a translation of a feeling, made permanent in glass and stone.
She has said that she found hope in color. You can see it in every single piece Jackie makes.
Materials: Sea Glass · Cut Glass · Ceramic Tile · Natural Stone · Found Objects · Mixed Media
HER PROCESS
She starts with your vows.
Before Jackie picks up a single tool, she sits with the photographs of your day and reads every word you said to each other. This is not a process. It is a ritual.
My process starts long before I pick up a tool. I spend time with the photos of the day, looking at the bride, the groom, the family, and the tables, and I read through the vows. I want to really soak in the colour palette, the specific vibe of the celebration, and the promises made. It helps me understand the atmosphere that surrounded those flowers so I can translate that energy into the work.
I look at the blooms not just as petals, but as organic shapes and textures that I can recreate using hand-cut ceramic, sea glass, and mixed media. I spend hours nipping and shaping each individual piece, nestling them together so the arrangement feels like it's growing right off the surface. And then I turn off my brain and let my heart do its thing.
JACKIE CLAUDET-MITTERER · IN JACKIE'S OWN WORDS
01 You enquire with ALG
Your first conversation is with us. We talk through sizing, timing, and what you have in mind, and answer any questions about the process.
02 Contract and deposit
Once you are ready, we issue the contract. A 30% deposit secures your place in Jackie's schedule. Work begins from that point.
03 You meet Jackie
After signing, you are introduced to Jackie directly. You share your photos, your vows, and your story. She takes it from there.
04 Jackie creates
Over approximately 12 weeks, Jackie works by hand to build your piece. We stay in contact throughout to make sure everything is tracking as it should.
05 Delivery and install
ALG arranges delivery and installation. We want your piece to arrive and land on the wall exactly right. We will not just drop it at the door.
WHAT YOU WILL SHARE
The more Jackie knows, the more she can give.
Jackie does not work from a brief. She works from immersion. The list below is not a checklist, it is an invitation to share the details of your day so she can bring the full spirit of it into the piece.
We gather this from you after the contract is signed, so you have time to pull everything together. There is no rush on the day.
i YOUR BOUQUET, FROM EVERY ANGLE
A minimum of two to three photos at different angles. The more the better. Jackie will study these closely before she begins.
ii A PHOTO OF THE BRIDE
At least one photo that shows the full look. Jackie wants to understand how the bouquet sat within the whole picture of the day.
iii THE VENUE AND THE TABLES
Photos of the reception space and table settings to capture the overall colour palette and atmosphere of your celebration.
iv WHERE IT WILL LIVE
A short video and photos of the space where the finished piece will hang. This helps Jackie consider how the work will sit in its permanent home.
v YOUR VOWS
Both partners' vows, in writing. Jackie reads these as part of Jackie's preparation. They shape the emotional tone of everything she makes. This is not optional.

WHY IT MATTERS
This is not a decoration.
It is a family heirloom in the making.
We have seen what happens when a piece like this goes up on a wall. It does not just sit there. It becomes part of the house. Guests ask about it. It holds the story of the day in a way that a photograph simply cannot.
Glass and stone do not fade. They do not yellow or crack or lose their color. What Jackie makes will be as alive in fifty years as it is on the day it arrives. Something made this carefully, this personally, is built to be passed on, from one generation to the next, carrying the memory of the day with it.
