After much anticipation, the Visiting Artists Show 2025 opened on Saturday, October 4th. It was an incredible night that made a real impact on the Dallas art scene, furthering the profiles of all the artists involved and helping them reach more people with their art. On reflection, we have so much to celebrate about the Visiting Artists Show 2025. And it’s not over yet! You can view “Poetic License” and the contribution of all 30 artists at ALG Fine Art until closing night on Saturday, November 15th.

The community showed up!
So many of you showed up to support our Visiting Artists. The Opening Night attracted around 450 visitors who got to see the artwork alongside the artists and experience the show with the poet who inspired our theme. This prompted great conversations on the night as the artists shared the stories and creative processes behind their work and discussed the themes of J.K. Kennedy’s Clumsy Beauty.
Creators, collectors, and art lovers all in one place was an amazing energy. Some pieces were sold on the night and others in the days afterward. You can check whether the artwork that resonates with you the most is still available and acquire it through our online shop.

Online support
We have had an awesome online response too. All the artwork from the show is listed on the website so it can reach people beyond the Dallas area. Artists and visitors shared their excitement about the show, particularly on Instagram, engaging new audiences in the artwork on display. We’ve seen some wonderful encouragement and support in the comments.
On ALG’s Instagram alone, where we have highlighted the show, the artwork in each category, and are now working through individual artwork features, we have hit over 100k views. We are so proud to be able to give these talented artists such a stage. Please keep sharing posts about the show and driving awareness and footfall.

In the press
The buzz around the show and the 30 contributing artists led to features in publications. The Visiting Artists Show was ranked as one of the top ten things to do in Dallas on Eventbrite and highlighted by D Magazine in their events calendar. The Scout Guide, CultureMap, and VisitDallas all wrote pieces on the show and the message we are sharing with “Poetic License.”
These press features have allowed us to elevate our Visiting Artists, drive more interest and engagement in the show, and connect them with potential collectors, supporting their creative endeavors just as this show was designed to do.
Thank you again to everyone who supported the show, whether you joined us on the night, engaged online, or spread the word. It means the world to us at ALG Fine Art and all the artists. Enjoy the show while it’s on display. “Poetic License” is available to view during our usual opening hours Wednesday to Saturday, 11am-4pm, until Saturday, November 15th.
What’s next for ALG Fine Art? We have an exciting events calendar planned for 2026 and we’re looking to take on two new Resident Artists. Watch this space!
